Took my first ride today with the new tire pressure monitor. Starting pressure front 40.5 temp was around 65, rear was 29.5 at the same temp.
After about an hour on two lane roads front pressure was up to 47, temp 73* F The rear was at 34 and 93*F
Bridgestone on the front and the Goodyear Ultra grip on the rear.
I guess this increase in pressure/temp is about normal I just thought someone might be interested in the numbers.

Do you have the Tyre-Dog? That's what I have.

Your pressure/temp results are consistent with what I have gotten.

The rear tire gets more pressure and temperature change. I think it is because of the heat off of the engine and exhausts.

I like knowing what my tire pressure is wihout having to crawl under the saddlebags. I don't even have to get the valve stem in the proper position.

Someone said the correct tire pressure is a 10% rise at temprature.
:agree:The tire pressure should rise about that if it goes up more then you need to add a bit of pressure at cold/start up. This is relevent, I don't think 1 pound would be that big a deal but could reduce tire life.
