Just curious what everyone sets their suspension at? I’m on a 23 tour and I weigh 190ish and maybe carry 8lbs of stuff in the all the bags and I set mine in the minimum setting of 1 rider and seems to be pretty darn comfortable. I tried 1 up with luggage and I didn’t really notice much of a difference, maybe a little more roughness…

just curious what everyone else is using? Two up of course I set it to the 2 up setting.
Thanks!

2 up plus luggage whether the wife is with me or not. I just never change it.

I ride 2 up all the time. Even with the wife on we keep it at 2 up. 2 Up+ doesn't seem to make a difference and according to Max it doesn't make hardly any difference at all. I also ride in Sport mode on the Highway and Tour in town or stop and go traffic. I like the extra damping on the highway. Makes for a very smooth ride.

Same as you -- sitting at 175lbs, always solo, with saddle bags stuffed with tools, a tire repair kit, and Under Armour liners for those chilly Florida mornings. Perfect ride suspension no matter the road, or speed. 2020 Tour MT.

It depends. On my way to a RTE it's 1+luggage. On the way back it's 2+.

Now I just leave it 2+ all the time. Always ride solo and 235ish depending on how much I eat at the RTE 🤣

Reading this makes me wonder if one might be as well or better with standard rather than active suspension. Seems like it would offer a higher degree of tunability. Or am I overlooking some other advantage of active?
Better off with active, or more accurately semi active. I don't believe anyone makes a full active system yet, though some call it active.

Simplest example. A rider prefers a soft ride for touring. If they get into a hard braking situation with soft suspension, the front will dive really bad. Semi active fixes that.
