Just deleted my archive and recent logs and I want to start experimenting with this function. I'll know soon enough but I'm curious about the segments.
The track Segments are illustrated on page 152 of my Navigation manual. What creates each segment point that gets created? Is it every time you stop and shut off the engine? I can't believe I've never used this function to create routes--especially back home from a creative drive on the fly. But I've never seen these 'crumbs" since I never went back to the Setup menu and clicked on the Map Display for YES. I've been recording for 5 years but never knew it
