UPS dropped of the new compressor while I was cutting the grass. Thanks for the tip Murf, it looks to be a solid replacement for my current compressor. I will test it out tomorrow after work.

You’re Welcome!

I think you’ll really like it. I used it twice at the Dells to bring my tires up to the recommended pressure. Last time was this morning before I left for home as temps were in the low 40’s and the front/rear were down 1.5 psi. IMO, it’s the “cats meow” for checking and topping your tires off while on a trip.

After you test it out, I would be interested in your impressions of the Trail Tech.

I had some time after work today to put the Trail Tech compressor through some paces. I decided to see how far I could get without reading the instructions. I lowered the air pressure on the Gold wings front tire down to 18psi according to my tire pressure gauge. I screwed the trachea (air hose) into the compressor then screwed the end of the trachea on to the valve stem. I pressed the power button and the display came on indicating 1.2 bar. I pressed the settings button and scrolled through to change to PSI. I pressed another button, and I had some options bicycle, motorcycle and car. I selected motorcycle and a preset 38 psi came on the display. I pressed the minus sign to get to 36 psi then hit start. Took 5 minutes or less to pressure up to 36 psi and turn off. I thought it was very user friendly. I agree with Murf that it will be a great tool for topping up air pressure out on trips. It is now tucked away in my tool bag. The compressor seems well made and for the price I would certainly recommend it.

Agree the layout of the various buttons is pretty intuitive and it's easy to figure out "what" button does "what" w/o reading the instructions. The Trail Tech is definitely very user friendly.
After reading both your posts.. I just ordered one. Was thinking about it, but I decided to pull the trigger based on you two guys! I also will use it for Bicycle tire filling...

I needed to add some air pressure to my pressure tank on my well system. Instead of getting my pancake compressor out of my shop I used the trail tech worked like a champ.

VTOMAN X1 Jump Starter with Air Compressor

I bought one of these in the beginning of 2022. Been working great as an air compressor, haven't got to try the jump start feature. That's okay by me. :) The thing is kinda of a beast to haul in a motorcycle, but it is a jump pack and a compressor in one. Works great at the storage shed, where I have no power. Also Vtoman has quite a product line.

Ordered Trail Tech compressor and hard case a few days ago, got notification it shipped today. Hopefully this will guarantee no more flats.

Yep, if you carry it chances are you won't need it. If you don't carry one, you will need it. Murphy's Law.
But it's always nice to have way to top off the tires.

It is an impressive compressor. In my neck of the woods, I have used it to air up several rear tires on goldwings being ridden two up with 28 psi being the lowest rear tire pressure encountered. The Trail Tech compressor makes quick work of topping off a tire to the correct pressure.

Possibly might be a trail tech dealer near wherever you happen to live, there aren’t any near me.

Found one, but they are the a$$ hats that scratched my rim, so I wouldn’t give them a $1 for it.
