Been looking at dove tailed wood-bed utility trailers to haul 2 GL1800s.

Is 77"x12' (10' flat + 2' dove tail), 1 axle, big enough?

Or do I need the next common size 83"x14" (12' flat+2' dove), 2 axle?

Or is there another common size that is better?

I have a 10 by 5 metal trailer with one 3500 lb axle, it would handle 2 wings if they are chalked and tied down properly. If your trying to buy one to keep. I would go with the all alumna trailer, made for 2 wings with the barrier up front.

I am no expert by any means; but I would feel better with a tandem axle trailer, for sure. I carry my wing(rarely) on my standard 5x 10 single axle trailer, pulled with my F150 truck. I would not want much more weight on my trailer ( and 5x10 is not big enough for 2 wings, anyway).

When needed, I use my enclosed dual axle, 20 ft snowmobile trailer.
Drop the back tailgate and drive it in, secure and away I go.
