First of all, Staples has their 2gig CF cards for $40 until the weekend. SanDisk ultraII.

I am now trying to transfer my maps and TRIPS to the new card by using a card reader. Maps tranfered OK, but I could not get the TRIP box to highlight so I could transfer them to the card.

Suggestions and ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Routes (trips), Waypoints and tracks are stored in the 2610's internal memory. The only way to transfer these is to connect the 2610 to your PC. NOTE: the only way to delete these from the 2610, is on the 2610. You can delete them from your PC, but the PC will not delete them from the unit.

The CF card only holds the maps (in a .img file).
