Here's another comment or in my case, a opinion. I think it's a great big waste of money to 99% of the people that buy into this suspension upgrade. Most of these same people wouldn't know the difference if they just changed fork oil and placed new OEM springs in the bike from what Traxion does.

A Traxxion bike compared to a stock bike is like a Mini Cooper S JCW compared to a Corolla. You're right; in a nice mellow blue-haired Florida community, it's a waste of money.
Save your money for the early birds. Clip a coupon too.

If you only knew what a full-blown asthma attack feels like, you'd throw out those nasty things and never pick them up again.

Mom and Dad permanantly damaged my lungs and almost killed me. Dad died of cancer; Mom has most of her removable parts taken out, full of cancer. And she still smokes.
Lots of cancer and emphysema in the family; but only a couple of smokers left. The rest died hideously.

We gotta get you on one of these bikes, Luther. And it could be a DQ run too. There's a good DQ in Hiawassi; we'll take you there via Wolfpen Gap Road and some of the zippy sections on 129. You ride your bike there and Paul's on the way back.
It's like a baptism of sorts; an awakening. We'll welcome you with open arms.

That's funny. Everybody else had it right. I'm a grouchy smart-a$$ puke that rides too fast to DQ. I call a spade a spade and give an honest answer when women ask me, "does this make me look fat?"

I toasted my rear tire in 6,000 miles after putting in the Traxxion. My front tire is looking close to gone at a little over 8,000. But that's because I'm pretty thick-built and ride 2-up really fast; that wears out tires. Mea culpa.

I have managed to mechanically bottom my rear suspension 4 times since the upgrade; I'm going to stop at Traxxion next week to talk to Max about that.

Bulldog drive my Mini? :shock: Maybe. But he's got to bring me some free Amsoil for that... :lol:

Any of those bearing that were trashed at 20,000 miles Honda should have replaced for warranty.

They denied me; stated that suspension is a "normal wear item".

How about just a stick on chrome (or gold) "XX" next to the GL1800 badges on the side covers?

The Goldwing-XX looks good. Why couldn't you just make the "-XX?"

Design it so the "-" fits right up against the Goldwing badge and it will need to be made in gold and chrome. Mine came with gold and I see a lot with it.

That sounds like the easiest thing to do.
