I am looking for a trunk organizer (like I had for my 1500). This organizer goes on the side of the trunk, it is made of clear plastic and goes on each side of the trunk. Where can I get these, who makes them and who sells them

The first link is I think what you want, the other two are neat alteritives... Happy Shopping.. I would steer clear of the organizer that bolts to the trunk lid, no space for helmets and alot of lost space!

Not to discourage you from getting them- but if you get them - don't overload or wedge anything in them- they will break.
I broke mine and then made Lexan ones that don't break.

I know what you are describing but this does not apply to the GL-1800 due to the fact that the floor of the trunk is now flat and does not have the "lips" as on the GL-1500. The good news is that the GL-1800 trunk now has more storage room width than on the GL-1500. If you get the deluxe nylon trunk and saddle bags from Honda, they have a small pocket on each one to hold your small items This is the way I went but they are pricey.

If that doesn't work for you, just get some seperate small zippered bags to go in your trunk. HDL has some trunk liners that add pockets to the underside of the lid, so maybe that is what you are looking for. Check out the following link:

Buying from HDL usually means you get a good price but it also supports the business that hosts this board.

Be careful of those as they are acrylic and break quite easily.

One Thought

I am finding that I prefer loose organizers such as small zippered pouches. What I found with "attached" organizers is they tend to get in the way when you want to load large or irregular cargo. For example, with a trunk-lid organizer, it is now a very tight fit to put a helmet in the trunk. The same goes for the luggage. If you have any attached organizers, you may not be able to get your luggage into the reduced space. Just some food for thought... :idea:

I just put the top scews in not the side and bottoms one in the organizer so my full face helmet fits in the trunk.

I took foam drink Koozies and hot glued them together in whatever configuration I wanted. (I have a 2x2 config currently) Holds phone, keys, glasses, change, etc.... very nicely. Doesn't scratch helmets, etc... Cheap.
