How many miles do you expect to get out of the universal joint?

I have a lady with a trike that had it go bad at 22k

What about a two wheeler?

Anyone have to replace it?

The u-joint on a trike is at a totally different angle than on the two wheeler. Haven't heard of problems with u-joints on two wheelers, but problems are common in trikes.

I replaced my OEM driveshaft at 120K. The U-joints were in real good shape, but I thought the rubber center section was too loose.
