When I picked up my GL1800 after last Sundays eskapade... it looked GREAT!. If you would have seen it on the trailer you would have thought I had just purchased a new Bike. The Bike never flipped over.... the forks were bent.... front tire, wheel and brake rotor were damaged, lower cowl broken and some minor road rash on the front engine guard and rear saddlebag guard..... of course there were some minor scratches and some of the "TUPPERWARE will need to be replaced. There may be more when we start tearing it down, but for what it went through it came out great. I mentioned in my first post (Bike Down) that my 3/4 helmet came through like a champ, and it did, however I landed on the top and sides. I still believe a full face helmet is much safer. If I had landed just a little different my face would look like the top of my helmet. Of course the choice is for the individual.
