Went to Desert Diamond Casino last sunday to watch Lions beat Vikings. Had number of diet sodas which turned to only cost me a tip. When i arrived with SO we parked in motorcycle area (concrete pads) and went inside. After the game we left and parked next to us was this Victory Vision Touring bike.

Both of us said "WOW" and looked it over. Such angled lines to it. I wonder how it rides on road.

You guys seen one up close or ever ridden one??

 :p

Been riding one for 2 years now. Not a perfect bike but it fits me better then the GL1800. More leg room, very comfortable seat and very easy to ride for a 900 lbs bike. I feel the trunk is bigger but the saddle bags take getting used to. The styling is a "love it or hate it" thing. Personally, I love it. Just get used to answering questions wherever you stop. Go to your nearest dealer and take one out for a ride...you just might like it!!
Cheers!

PS. Someone will most likely post a picture of Bozo the clown...wait for it.

Saw a fair amount of them at Sturgis. The two I talked to said they loved them. They rode 'em from Florida.
I test rode one at my local dealer when they first came out. I was pleasently surprised. I thought it was very nice. But, not enough to trade my '06 Wing in for.

I like them! But then, I like all motorcycles.

Eh, I'm the "hater" in the crowd. Probably a very fine motorcycle but the styling is just not for me. Not MY "vision" hahahahahahaha.

Certainly it is different. Did test drive two of them and got two free t-shirts.

I have been looking at the Vision and the new Cross Country Tour, which is new this year. I love my wing but I'm a bit put out with Honda for moving production to Japan as I like to buy American when I can (sans Harley Davidson). I am in no hurry to get rid of my wing but when I do I'll look very hard at the Vision.

I sat on a V V Tour about 6 months ago. Seamed like a very confortable bike. I probably will look in to it further in a couple of years.

I am afraid to test drive one...I might like it! Wife would be pissed:nojoke:
They look like a good bike and I never see myself ride down the road. I ride with a CT on the back of my GL1800 and I wear pink. If I like it I frankly do not care what you think.
They are a bigger bike (I'm short 5'8) I can see why a bigger person would feel more comfortable on the Vision than a GL1800.

I am in the group who hates their appearance. To me they look like a goofy science fiction cartoon. Would be embarrassed to be seen riding one.

However - everyone has the absolute right to purchase and ride whatever they like and certainly do not need my approval.

Rode in the original promo tour with st paul chief of police who owned several harleys. We decided that the 6th gear is freeway only and useless under 60mph BUT put it in 6th at 75 and it sounds like you are doing about 50 and is very smooth. Good radio, cb, seating Just LOOKS FUNNY but now that I have seen the back of some 2012s on the road it looks like a goldwing :joke:first cousin.......

I think it's uglier than the rear of the new GW, but not much.

I'm in the " love the looks" camp. I rode one and dindnt care for the amount of engine noise reflected back from the fairing plus the saddlebags are much smaller than those on a wing. So no VV for me.

This month's MCN had a review of all the new Victory bikes for this year and they talked very highly about the new Cross Country Tour...

That was my feeling until I saw The 2012 Wing in person. Looks better in person to me. I still don't care for the Vision rear end, even in person. But to each his own. That's why there are different styles in everything.

I could deal with the looks.....if it had the power and handling of the Wing in the mountains.
