I posted a Trike for sale with extended warrenty good until 2013.

I have been advised that the conversion terminates the warrenty so that the
failures of the drive train (ie, transmission, clutch, motor) will not be covered because the conversion to a trike voids that portion of the warranty! Both the 3yr and the 4yr extended.

So be advised - anyone buying this trike will be as is.

That's if the dealer you take it to decides to deny a claim and reports the conversion to Honda or the Honda Rep show up to review the defective parts/bike.
There are some that have been lucky in having drive line failures covered, especially if the dealer doing the repair installed the conversion.
Non-drive train failures/defects not associated w/the conversion should still be covered. Front fokes may suffer the same fate if a rake kit is added.
