Way to go Tigers! we saw the end of the game, it was awesome! My nephew lives in Detroit and is a huge Tigers fan, knowing him he blew off work and found a way to go to the game!

Now if we could only do something about the team playing next door. Maybe next year. Anyway, GO, TIGERS.

The Tigers should do very well with Mets or Cards. Either way they stack up better than each of the NL teams. Great pitching will beat great hitting and Detroit has an incrediable staff with great confidence. The Mets could give them a run for their money, but with out Pedro and El Duque, not gonna happen.

Jim Leyland has been one of the best managers in the game for years! Once again he has a great combination of players and he knows how to use them and motivate them.

I love to see teams like this one and the ChiSox from last year win it all. Mainly because I don't believe in the salary crap theory that the NFL implemented years ago. It helps to love the game itself first, then love your team.

Maybe I'm biased, from being fortunate enough to have played hardball competively for over 25 yrs, but baseball is truly the greatest game ever!!

Great! Next, hot snow will be falling up from the ground.

It's still in the wrong section but I think everyone is aware of that.

Hey, they're your search results also. If you want to clutter them up, so be it.

OK. OK. OK. I'm not very happy these days, but my loyalties lie with the American League so reluctantly, GO TIGERS.

Does Tom Monaghan still own the Tigers?
I made huge money working for him when I was a youngster; very nice guy with a terrific ethic.
Bill,

Mike Ilitch is the current owner of the Tigers & I believe he has been since the early 90's, if I remember correctly.

BTW, don't look now, but the Lions are on a winning streak!! :D

Sorry, couldn't help it!
