I am going to buy a new GL1800 and a Bay Area dealer has a bunch of 2010 models, one Audio Comfort for $18,999 and several of the Audio Comfort Nav ABS for $22,788. My trade is an '03 GL1800 with 54,000 miles with a couple minor issues. They offered me $7500 for it. Is there haggle room on these discounted prices?

If I were going to haggle it would be on the offer for the 2003 trade-in. Some shops are offering free accessories as a carrot.

The guy I bought my '03 from was going out to Chattanooga to pick up his 2010 Level 3 at Southern Powersports. He said his deal was for $20,500.

Man, do look around!!!

I gave $16,900 for my 2010 comfort pearl yellow at Brookhaven,Miss. with $1000 free accessories and a free extra year warranty and was offered a navi model for $18,900. Look for a Powerseller honda dealer, they get the bikes at a much better price and in turn can sell to you much cheaper, phew man, $24k:eek:4: for a navi??? That's $5100 more than the dealer wanted here.

Got my 2010 Audio Comfort at Southern Power Sports in Chattanooga in May. $18300 with $1500 for accessories. Traded in my 2003 with 32000 miles. Got $10000 trade in. Might have gotten more but I'm not a great haggler. That also included the extend warranty until 2018. I think I got a pretty good deal. No one in Atlanta could make that deal.

I paid $24,239- for my red 2010 level 3 and the dealer would NOT go down at all. He told me if I didn't buy it at that price someone else would. I was pissed but I bought it.

No less than $4,000 off MSRP or check next dealer down the road!
Yea that only works if you are in a buyers market. Where I live nobody has 2010 or 2012 in stock. So its almost full retail for a Goldwing around here.

The dealer is trying to steal your 03. I would sell it myself before I gave it away to the dealer. With only 54K miles it's just getting broken in.

Give the folks in Hollister CA a call and see what they have in stock. I have stopped in there a couple of times in the last 2-3 months and they had some killer prices.

After seeing this thread, I contacted Southern Powersports since I am also in the market for a 2010 "leftover". I didn't get any warm and fuzzys from them. After describing my trade-in, I offered to send some pictures I had snapped just before calling, and the guy all but called me a liar before I even clicked send. "Those pictures could be five years old," was his only comment.

While I didn't expect to cement the deal over the phone, I would have expected a little more than that. I was disappointed, because after reading previous posts, I had high hopes for this dealership. Unless they offer me a spectacular deal, I suppose I'll be shopping elsewhere.
