For Safety:
  • Spoiler w/ E/C brake/run harness (helps to be seen to the rear)
Kisan Brakelight Modulator (REALLY helps to be seen while braking)
Kury Stealth lights/mirror turn signal LEDs (helps to be seen from the side)
E/C Driving Lights (helps to be seen from the front)
Kury Ring 'o Fire (helps to be seen from the sides)
ABS (if for some reason the above don't work fully...)
For Comfort:
  • Utopia backrest (great for supporting the back and relieving stress in shoulders)
Kury Iso Wings on vertical bar (helps to stretch your legs and find a more comfortable riding position)
Cee Bailey Windshield (GREATLY reduces buffeting for rider & passenger)
Delphi SkyFi XM Radio (at first I couldn't imagine a long ride without it, now I can't stand to listen to regular radio)
Transformer boards (gotta keep the little lady happy :) )
Passenger armrests (not the perfect solution, but see above for reasoning)
For Fun:
  • Knight Rider Scoop lights
Voice-annunciation "alarm" activated by the remote's lock & call buttons
For peace of mind:
  • Digital LCD voltmeter
    Digital LCD Water Temperature gauge
Display timer adapter to display ambient temp automatically
Garage door opener tied to high-beam switch
    Digital LED Gear indicator
Aftermarket CB integrated into bike's controls (in progress - not tied into display)
Dash-mounted Garmin SPIII (so I can find my way back home)

What a great thread...mine would be these:

1) Utopia backrest
2) Honda tall windshield
3) MP3 player
4) Spoiler with backoff flasher
5) Driving lights
6) The best riding gear that I can find, period.

When it comes to riding gear I have learned the hard way that the best gear is the cheapest too. Like buying 4 rainsuits before I went all the way, why didnt I just go for it first. Or Gerbings jackets and gloves, wow what a pleasure to ride on cold days now. And you can never have good enough safety gear. You guys know what I mean.

Everything I have done for both accounts has been covered above and then some! EXCEPT a saftey item that needs to be way up on all of our lists. Nobody else mentioned this improtant item. Its inexpensive. Its not Honda specific. When you need it -- you need it NOW! I have only met a couple of other riders who also carry this item.

A decent First Aid kit!
