Saw a Wing in Gettysburg, PA a couple of years ago. It appeared to be made from a GL1000. All flat black paint and looked really more of a "rat" bike than the one you referenced.

Something for everyone I guess.

There is a site called "Backyard Goldwings". Has some interesting "exercises" on it. Like:

Quite a while ago I remember this one with horns and all. It was called Buford and was supposed to resemble a buffalo.
