Well, I test rode a wing that had a utopia backrest. My torso and arms were so short that in order to effectively and comfortably hold the handlebars, I was so far forward that there were INCHES between me and the backrest. Even when in it's forwardmost position.

This means that also, the stock little lower back support was WAY to far back to even begin to feel useful.

So how can I make it so if I wanted to, I can better use the backsupport or backrest. Initially I would think "risers" (I had them on my old cruiser, and they worked well), but would that make the handlebars too high? Do they make risers that provide more pullback instead of "rise"?

Am I even on the right track?!

Short arms

I am right there with you on this one and I put the REG risers that raised the bars up, moved them back and brought them in. Worked very well for me. Now my elbows are slightley bent and I don't get any pain between my shoulder blades. Later on a different seat that moves you forward 1 or 2 inches will make it perfect
