I would trike the bike you already have. The blue looks great as a trike!
Its still a new bike. You will take a beating if you sell it, so trike it. Trike Installers in Oregon are Island Trike in Portland area, a Lehman dealer just off I 205 next to the boarder (Wingman, I think), neither of which I have experience with. There is an independent in Junction City I would not recommend, and the one I use and recommend is S&D Custom in Grants Pass that are MotorTrike dealers. [email protected]I have a 2007 with ABS, with only 2300 miles on it,
now that i have put a very few miles on it,
What sould i Do Sell the 07 Or add a trike Kit to it
with what i have in the bike plus the kit i would be in about the same as
buying a new 09 out of AK they have a nice Yellow:shock: CSC
The 09 was built by Misty Mountain out of Heber Spings any body
pickup a trike up from them?
Thanks for the help
Hey how did a ******* biker end up in Oregon:?::doorag: Misty Mountain is one of CSC's best but you wouldn't be happy with a YELLOW Trike........:joke: Actually if you can get a good price for yours it might not be a bad deal.I have a 2007 with ABS, with only 2300 miles on it,

Not to mention you'll be among the Trike Elite. Although the 100 mph thing concerns me. Yes, Yellow is the most gorgeous color of all, but also the most visible to the trained eye of the law enforcement crowd. As J V McClure discovered in Arizona not long ago. His is not Yellow but he has his mug shot plastered all over the post office walls in Phoenix. If you're going to go YELLOW and speed too have a good story ready. Tell 'em your installer pinched your throttle cable and it sticks. Or blame it on our fellow board members..........like I do!I did pick the bike up used, and i think i can resell it for what i payed for it
sombody on the site here said to buy a used one to see if you like the wing. At 130mph with heated hand grips you can't get any beater then that.
and with a Yellow one at 100mph i will b e looking like i'm doign 130![]()

Even if you get your money back selling the 07 when you buy the 09 you will have to pay full tax on the 09 plus your insurance will go up considerably as I discovered when considering the same thing myself. Just think of the farkles you could buy with the tax and insurance difference. Just figure those differences before you decide..
Of course being a ******* biker you probably have millions and a few lousy bucks for tax and ins. is just coffee money anyway. :joke:4:
I will tell you that the blue looks nice as a trike and there aren't many of us. THAT"S A LOT OF YELLOW! when it's a trike, it looks like twice as much. Besides - you have a NEW bike already, trike it. I had 14K on mine and never even thought about getting rid of it. You'll love what ever kit you do, just ride as many of them as you can BEFORE you decide whcih one. Good luck -
:yes1:I second FlashG's opinion....blue looks great on a trike. I'm always getting compliments on how pretty the blue is. I had my '07 for a year and 26K miles on it before I triked it with a Hannigan. Since then I have put another 5K + on it and never regreted it a bit.I would trike the bike you already have. Do your homework. Oregon does not have a tax - only a license and title fee. And my insurance rates acutually went down with the trike.Doc1;2289779 [B said:you will have to pay full tax on the 09[/b] plus your insurance will go up considerably as I discovered when considering the same thing myself. Hit 115 once while chasing a Bull Dawg, but that was a two trips to Kerrville ago (which included two trips to Coopers, and two to the OST). I don't miss the MPH, but I do miss the BBQ and the chow at the OST. Can't wait until June when I get back in the area.Do your homework. Oregon does not have a tax - only a license and title fee. And, *******, once you trike it, scrap the 130MPH idea. The increased road friction, wind resistance and weight cuts right into the performance curve. Something like putting a tank conversion on a Volkswagon.
