I have a 2007 with ABS, with only 2300 miles on it,
now that i have put a very few miles on it,
What sould i Do Sell the 07 Or add a trike Kit to it
with what i have in the bike plus the kit i would be in about the same as
buying a new 09 out of AK they have a nice Yellow:shock: CSC
The 09 was built by Misty Mountain out of Heber Spings any body
pickup a trike up from them?

******* biker there is a csc installer up here in the Seattle area it is Everett Powersports there is a Motortrike installer in Grants Pass it is S&D Custom cycle IRharry has info on them MY trike was converted by Island Trikes in Forest Grove if I can help send me a PM

I installed my own DFT kit and the total package with wheels, tires and paint was less than $12,000. So if your trike is worth 16K and you add 12K to that then you are looking at a total of 28K rather than 36K. Something to think about if you are looking at costs. (http://www.dfttrikes.com/)

I posted several pictues of my build on this board back in March/April of 2008

I am a retired engineer and looked at all of the kits with a critical eye and I choose the DFT, today it would still be the DFT, however the Hannigan also has a lot going for it. (MY PERSONAL, BIASED OPINION)

The DFT kit was a VERY EASY install, if you are a decent mechanic or have a friend or relative who is then you may want to give it look. I did not install the rake kit, I do not want it and with the All Ball bearings and the riser kit I do not feel that it is needed, again my opinion.

Gary at Lonestar is a DFT dealer and can give you a quote if you are remotely interested.

Thanks I was wanting to build my own, and my boy and nephew are painters so i will look into it

this my be fun! but my SO said she my not ride with me if i build it:shrug: I'm not sure what she means:joke:
I only know how to run a pencil

Not knocking Lehman, but what makes you think that HD knows something that the rest doesn't????? I think that Lehman started with the HD kits and has close ties with the powers to be there.

and more i read i'm think you guys have a good setup, i will give the builder out of Grantpass a call,

And on the HD info that i read on the HD &Lehman they did a lot of testing to make sure the trike was safe

If you want to look at a MotorTrike conversion, I live in Coos Bay, 541 888 5439 and if you want a comparison between a MotorTrike and a CSC, pick a nice weekend and I will ride up to Stayton to a friends house that has one (he also has a Rollahome camp trailer) and you can look them over and road test them. You will find they are really very similar. Except that red is faster.....:lol:...and better looking.....:roll:...than those yellow ones....

Harry I have to agree and disagree Motortrikes are a nice ride but orange is faster especially with a Pingle just ask Wheels
