I call them clip nuts. The black folded nut on the lower shelter tabs that the top shelter mounts on. I've looked at Hal's parts site and they aren't even shown.

Anyone ever replace these? If so where did you find them and the size? No store out here in the sticks has them.

Have you tried any of the auto parts stores? Look in the nut and bolts section.

one of mine stripped, bought a replacement from my Honda dealer, not sure but i think it was about $3

The 5mm one is part#90677-KAN-961. the other 6mm? is 90320-GE2-760.

I dont have my manual handy to confirm the 6, but these 2 numbers were given as the replacements for the two types.

autozone has them at my local store

they also have the rivets for the pockets as well

I found them, thanks all. Never look up parts after working a 12 midshift. I was looking in the wrong place.

Tip: Buy extras, the auto parts store ones don't match well and even many moto dealers don't stock them. I found early on to keep extra pushpins, grommetts, and clipnuts on hand.
