The other day I detected an odor of burned electronics, which went away in a minute. Then I noticed my grip heater and seat heater do not work. I checked the 20 amp fuse and it is good. In the past when I smelled that burned electrical scent it wasn't the fuse anyway, always something worse. So, where is the component that has probably failed and is it hard to replace? Thanks.

I guess you could call this a bump. Is the seat heater and grip heater the same unit that is located under the seat? Is there a way of testing it? Thanks.

nope ....the control unit is down and to the right of the battery
