Good idea Richard.

Allen, I'm amazed that you had such problems. My wife and I have the original Toggs, and ridden a number of 8-10 hour days in continuous rain, and stayed relatively dry.

Larry, all I know is that after two years of light duty use, our Toggs start leaking like a sieve. After a couple of hours in the rain, we might as well not even have them on.

I am not doubting you one bit Allen. I was just surprised, that's all.

My FirstGear jacket and HT overpants are good raingear. I have a set of Harley Davidson treated Nylon that I have used on warmer days in light rain for several hours and have been happy with them. I sort of consider it reverse snobbery to ride a Honda wearing Harley Davidson gear. I love the way the HD gear packs down to almost nothing, yet they work. In a harder rain, I'd be reaching for the FirstGear.
