My wife and I rode down to Columbia, SC just to see some of the wonderful street art. Here are a few samples. Click the photos to pop open the larger versions.

I've heard the tunnel mural leads to Myrtle Beach, but you have to take the long way back. ;)

Looks in the background and you'll see two buildings held together by a chain. The chain is "installed" right across the street from the art museum.

Columbia was very nice, although, we thought the down town area was kind of empty. I'd love to buy a condo down there and enjoy the vibe.

I saw the tunnel picture about 10 years ago and found it by accident while looking for a place to eat.
It is amazing. (The name is Tunnel Vision)

There was a time I would have try to drive through that tunnel, which is why it's a good thing I gave up drinking.

Great idea to draw tourists (pun intended). I love places like that.

If I'm not mistaken, the tunnel picture is in the same parking lot with huge fire hydrant. Downtown Columbia comes alive at night, plus...you were there in the summertime. Most of the college kids have gone home for the summer.

Good pics
