Good question,

I thought they were all the same. I have an 06 wheel I was planning to use for my 05, They look the same.

Red, Where are you.............

Can't help! :( I've got a older 1800 rear rim I'll be using on my '06, I think. LOL.... Just because the part number changed doesn't mean the part changed. I'd take a chance on the rim & tire......

If that's just the wheel, you should be able to get one for at least half that! :( They're all over the place for sale. :)

FYI... A local trike shop was selling his new wheel and tire combos for $150.

FYI on http://www.hdlparts.com Rear Wheel Part Numbers:

'01 42650-MCA-670
'02 42650-MCA-A00 (replaces 42650-MCA-671)
'03 42650-MCA-A00
'04 42650-MCA-A00
'06 42650-MCA-A00

Rear Wheel Disc:

'01 43250-MCA-003
'02 43250-MCA-003
'03 43250-MCA-013
'04 43250-MCA-013
'06 43250-MCA-013

It appears, they changed the wheel weight P/N from '01 to '02, so thus a subtle styling difference; but the neighboring part overlaps enough that there should be no issues (offset).
