Gary, the antenna for the XM will work in the Sirius. I switched from a Roady to a Sirius Starmate and it worked. As far as the hook up, I used the power in the left compartment. The radio is in the right compartment and the antenna is on the dash. The power cable is different, the XM was 6 volts and the Sirius is 12 volt. Also the plugs on the power are not the same size, the XM is bigger. Hope this helps.

Someone mentioned here in another post that some of the Sirius radios are NOT 12volt. better check your radio.

Steve, it is possible that some Sirius are 6 volts, don't know all the radios, that's why I mentioned the models I have, both XM and Sirius. Also as far as my models the pwoer connectors are different sizes. Didn't mean to imply that all radios are the same voltage and as you stated you should always read the book.
