My windshield, like many folks is delaminating and it seems to be getting worse. My question is, what's Mother Honda's take on this? Any chance this is considered a failed part and covered under warranty? I could see where they'd blame road debris or incorrect cleaning for the failure but I don't think I've abused my windshield any more than anyone else.

I know, most folks say replace it with any of the obviously superior aftermarket windshields but if I could get this replaced under warranty, I would.

It sure isn't just a cosmetic issue and it is not considered a consumable part, so it should be covered. Unfortunately, the way Honda works, you will have to find a dealer that will work with you. Some of them seem to not want to cover anything and Honda leaves it up to dealer discretion.

They could claim that you cleaned it with something that attacked the coating, but I noticed my 4 year old shield is peeling at one of the corners the other day.
