I went to a sign shop and they gave me some scrap black vinyl. Cut out the new pieces then cleaned the mounting area with denatured alcohol and applied them. That was 3 years ago. The first time I tried regular black vinyl tape but it didn't make it thru the summer.
Windshield tape
The black windshield tape is coming off for the third time. What is the brand of Velcro that some are using? Still holding? Thanks for the help. Schu

You can buy velcro in 1" strips 4' long. Definitely use alcohol to clean before applying Velcro. Use the soft side. You can search on google and find many places that carry it.
