New to this board and I'm shopping for a wing. My local dealer (whom I'm on very good terms with) is offering me a new Wing; Red 2006, navi/comfort pkg, no miles, with a $400 intercom system included for $21,250. Is this a fair deal or should i wait a couple of months or more to get it cheaper since it is a 2006 model. He has 3 of them in assorted colors. I've seen a couple of deals on the classified board here but the distance and cost to go long distance is not always feasible.
Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

I think thats a LOT to high. Not to start a thread on pricing of bikes but mine is an 06 ABS/NAVI/COMFORT, I got for just under 18000.00, course I had to pay TTL fees but NO prep fees.

And Bulldog did not mention there were two black 06 models with ABS, nav, comfort left over for $18,999....

I think your dealer has a little room to work......Now if he wanted to toss in a pair of flip front helmets with headsets and cords, and mayby a CB radio, you would be cooking on gas........

If it's a good dealer and would provide good service after the sale, I'd buy it if he knocked a grand off of that. If he's including helmets with headsets I'd figure in the cost of those. It wouldn't be the cheapest price but it would be a fair price.

I do see a lot of difference with Goldwing pricing and it seems to stem in part from your geographic location. I know my 06 nav was priced at $22,999. in Houston. I ended up with a out the door price of $20,500. That still seems high compared to some other areas but what done is done. If I had it do again I'd fly over and buy one from Hal and ride her home, his prices are rockbottom.

Just bought an '06 Navi, Comfort and all the jazz last July for 18,900 out the door- just to give some help, try that dealer in Sercy, AR- all I had to do was tell my dealer that I found this bike in Sercy and that they were going to do 18,500.... one day later he came back, Ok... we can do 18,900!!!

I would check around and then use some leverage on your dealer of choice... they'll bend if you are really ready to deal!

What kind?
... the Chatterbox is only $89.
If you're getting charged $400 that's not a "deal".

Goldwing price

For a 2006??? I think it's a lttle high. We are now into 2007, but if you are not able to travel a little bit to get a better deal you might be stuck.
Good Luck!

KIND OF BUMMING THIS MORNING:
Firstly, you guys have created research and homework for me. Nonetheless, thanks for the enlightenment with your responses. It gives me a better chance for bargaining.
Secondly, my cowboys lost last night (yes, I've read the seahawk thread here) but hey, games are won and lost on breaks and mistakes and both teams had their share of both - good game though. Neither team had or has a chance of going much further and it has been an interseting season. Best of luck to the Seahawks who I happen to like, just not when they're playing against Dallas.

You might look at Lakehills Honda in Corinth, MS. The prices are cash out the door. Not sure they are good or bad, but another place to shop. Corinth is about 85 miles east of Memphis.

Lôôks like I got stuck. I had to pay $21,800 out the door for my 2006 titanium with the nav pack.

For me, living in Northern California and talking to DMV, I had to have 7,500 miles on it if I bought out of state before I could register it here. Because I have to work :( more time than I have time to ride, work interferes with riding, it would take longer than the allowed time to get it registered. I got it in July and still don't have 7,500 miles on it.

Is the 7500 figure intended for vehicles that don't meet California's emissions standards? The Wing is a '50 state' vehicle, so I wonder where the 7500 mile figure comes from.

Try Honda of Lubbock and talk to Mike, He might be able to make you a little better deal. He did for us. He got to within about 500 of the internet price on an 05.
