A cut down Wing... with a VTX "C" rear fender, and a VTX "R" gas tank & dash????

Oh yeah.. and a VTX top triple-tree, with pull-back bars?

I'm curious though.... where did the ignition get moved to? Don't see it on the left side like the VTX (thankfully!!!)

Now that is cool, I think I'd change the pipes but that looks like a fun ride. Weren't some of the early 1200's a naked model??

1984 and 1985 a model of the GL1200 with no fairing, bags or trunk was produced. It was discontinued after the 1985 model due poor sales. If I remember correctly production numbers were very low for the naked model.

That's not too bad looking, needs to have something done in the radiator area to clean it up.

Would be faster and better looking if silver. I would like to see what difference in the quater mile it makes removing the fairing and saddlebags?

Now that is a custom bike. You won't see another one today like that.

That sure does look like Gary with Gary's Hobby Shop. If not he has a twin brother.
I thought there was only saddles bags & a rear tire left over from triking
out a wing.
