I'd like to know if available where the various rides will be, how long and how many stops. I'm 43 and ride brisk usually 10-20 over. I'm also trying to meet a few other wings my age/riding style and maybe get together a few times/yr and ride Blueridege pkwy etc. I'm actually quite bored with the north GA mtns but highly recommend them to those who are unfamiliar with them, its just since returning to riding 5 yrs ago I've avg over 20k/yr mostly in the GA mtns so I'm riding other places now. I'd like to go to Wingstock and just meet others with same passion. The Cherohala Skyway ride I saw mapped out is a good one, I've done that many times and still do a few times/yr. Also I hope that one of the rides includes 60 and t.w.o. (twowheelsonly.com) for those that have a never been, its a must.
If riding the Cherohala, be sure to take the side road to the falls, it follows a river the whole way and is a nice ride.

And I, on the other hand, will have a passenger looking of the more
conservative ride. If I were solo, I'd be following you daddysbike.

I think Toyo is leading the more brisk ride. I don't think he's posted his route yet, and may not till the start of it on that Saturday.

Steve,
Dan was going to lead the Cherahala run; are you, ahem, volunteering to lead that one now???
Toyo is taking a group at warp 8-9 in the N.GA mountains. I'm taking a group at warp 7-8 on Dan's pig trails (thanks Steve S) and twisties with a little hike at Duke's Creek Falls. Paul is doing warp 6-7 with a stop at Amicalola Falls.
We'll be sharing alot of roads... ...but we need somebody to take a group up to the CS and Dragon...

Hmmmmm,

I maybe willing to lead the Cherohala group for riders who like 10-20mph over and ride more than stop and eat. I also maybe willing to ride them to the start of Deals gap and just hang out at the start while they ride. Deals gap is tooo much work on the wing for me and I don't usually ride it on weekends. Anybody for riding lead on the way back? I don't ride with groups too often and kind of like to just hang in the back and take in the show.
