Anybody have any recommendations on the best tape to use to rewrap an opened wire harness ? I found some Scotch 700 Commercial Grade Vinyl Electrical Tape today, that looks like it has some good characteristics. Flame Retardant, Weather Resistant, 600V, -10 C. to +90 C (14 F to 194 F) working range. Before I use this, I am going to look around for references if possible. Regards Steve Link to data sheet on this tape. http://multimedia.3m.com/mws/mediaw...6EVtQEVs6EVs6EVs6E666666--&fn=78812455687.pdf

Just go to Lowes or Home Depot and look at all the tapes that are offered. I bought a roll of a blue "foam" tape a number of years ago (sorry - no name for ya!) which stands up to everything..!!!
