I was working with a friend that has a 2001 ABS with a CSC trike kit on it. This winter his reverse went out and with help from the board we could still not get it to work when the reverse button was pushed the R light would start to blink and if you would push it again it would blink faster. He had a bunch of bad connectors and the one under the seat was just about melted it would not come apart so he ordered a new wire harness. When his Bike was triked the ABS was eliminated so to make it a little easier we replaced the harness with a non-abs harness. After replacing the harness we still had the reverse problem but found out the reverse module was bad also may have been from all the bad wires and one may have shorted out.

OK now to the next part all works now but the ABS light is always on and the old harness CSC jumpered some wires on the rear ABS circuit to eliminate the light. Is there any way to kill the light since the new harness has no ABS wires or fuses.

If you ground the yellow/blue wire in this picture, it will kill the indicator. The C9 connector is under the left fairing pocket, it's the blue connector.

If that ABS control unit is present, then cut the wire or pull the pin out of the connector and ground it. If the ABS unit is not there, just ground the wire any way you want.
