El lobo,I just use a test light at the wires from the bikes pig tail.I locate the turn signals first, left and right, mark them. Most always the trailmarker,or running lights will be some combination of brown. After finding running light I compress front brake and hold that and find stop light wire color. When I am working on the trailer.I use a battery charger for power to check each function on those wires in the same order I did on the bike. All boots and no saddle post is a very good link if your trailer is wired like this.I emailed my trailer manufactor for a wiring diagram and he sent me one that was just like a car is wired.I knew that was wrong for my type of 6 way plug,so I did it the old fashion way so I knew it would work.It really gets to me when I have to start over when there is one wrong instruction.Good Luck,John
