I have the Motorcycle Larry's clutch reservoir cap with ram ball on the bike and want to hard wire the gps into the bike. Will probably only be using it on trips so I would like to remove the wiring when the garmin 2720 gps isn't being used. Anyone else done this? Do you have it hooked up to the intercom and can you get the directions thru the speakers? New to all this and used to have this wiring on a Concours and just had the directions thru my helmet speaker. Was thinking of routing the wiring up to the base of handlebars and making connectors so I could unplug from the bike when not in use. What type of connectors would work well and be waterproof? Any ideas or help will be appreciated. Thanks, Jim

I emailed Jon at Gold Wing Gadgets. Thanks for the help and ideas. Will let you know how it turns out. I also emailed Electrical Connection but haven't gotten anything back yet. Trying to keep it simple on the Gold Wing like it was on the Concours, but a little more complicated on the wing. Jim
