I checked with them today and they have a section blocked out for us. The dates are October 7,8 and 9th. Feel free to start making reservations. I will contact Paul Bunyon's later this week to make sure everything is set up there also. In the spring we did not do a Friday night dinner. Please let me know if you would like to do something on this or not. I will try to set something up if most of the people attending would like me too. This is a great meet and greet with some very good riding in the area. I will set up a few ride leaders who have interest in leading a group. If anyone is interested in leading a ride please let me know.

Thanks. I hope to see you all there. Last fall was perfect weather, and I am praying for the the same this year.

PS. When you call the Mayflower, tell them you are from the Goldwing group or mention my name (George for those who don't know. Phone #800-345-7407 or 608-253-6471)

Hoping to make it

George,

I've read about your ride for the last couple of years and something has alway come up to keep me from attending. It sure sounds like a good time. Tomorrow I'll be on the schedule as being off work on 10/7.

The location has been changed. see below

Please note the change in location.

I would like to appolgize for the long delay, however it took awhile to confirm everything with the other parties.** So far your group had 8 rooms being held with no deposits under the name of George Gunther.* For arrival on October 7th for a room with two queens at the rate of $58 a night plus taxes.* The Copa Cabana here in Wisconsin Dells is willing to honor this rate.*They will have the rooms set up available for your group starting Friday afternoon the (9th of Sept).* Each person must call in and book the room under his/her names and guarantee the room with a deposit.* Copa Cabana will explain all polices when booking the rooms.**
*
I would like to thank you for considering the Mayflower Motel and once appologize that this year we were not able to accomodate your group.* If you would have any questions please feel free to give me a call.* Our number is 608-253-6471.*

Hey guys I mave my reservations made and two more from Minnesota will be coming. Kathy and I won't be able to leave the until about 3:00, so I'm guessing arrival would be about 7:00 or so.

I've read that this is a pretty low key event, with lots of good people. Could any of you give me a heads up as to any specifics for the weekend? Is anything planned for Friday evening? Meet & Greet? Parking Lot Tall Tails?

Looking forward to lots of fall miles with you. One more question (probably the most important one). What time are kickstands up on Saturday AM?

Thanks

Greg.

friday is dinner on your own or with anyone from the group. Often several with like tastes for supper head out and eat. Then back to the parking lot for meet and greet. Lots of really good lies are swapped and some truth also. Great people. Saturday we head to Paul Bunyons for breakfast. We meet in the parking lot. I will collect the money and give everyone tickets. This makes it so much easier when we enter. No stopping to pay individually. We sit down and eat family style (loggin camp style actually). BTW the fresh hot dougnuts are great. Watch out for rail32 he can finish a whole plate of them, then stick several in his pocket for later (about 10 minutes later). We have several people lined up to lead rides of various speeds and to some very nice scenery. Some actually go into town and visit the really nice stores or even the casino.(my wife will be at the casino if anyone has some money they wish to get rid of) This year Wisconsin Dells has chili fest going on in town so that is another option.
Saturday again several head to supper (casino has a great buffet) and then back for more tall tales. Sunday head home whenever you are ready.

If you plan on breakfast let me know. I need a rough count for the restraunt
