[h=2]Wisconsin Dells Spring Breakfast ride in[/h]
Don't miss it. We never know what will happen. If you are not there, I am sure we will talk about you.

Wisconsin Dells Spring Breakfast ride in.

May 9th, 10th and 11th

Indian Trail Motel
1013 Broadway
Wisconsin Dells, WI 53965
608-253-2641

Friday evening is just hanging and socializing. Most people hook up with a group and find a place to go eat. Orrin has been gracious enough the last few years to set-up dinner at Moose Jaw Pizza and Brewing Company, so maybe we can do this again. If this is not to your liking there are many other options. Some just hang out at the motel. After dinner we usually sit around and visit and watch rail32 entertain us. This is always a blast. Drinks are usually consumed but not required. There are a few members who choose to visit Ho-Chunk Casino. We have been able to convince Anna (the owner of Indian Trail Motel) to set up a bonfire on Friday and Saturday night for us the last 2 ride ins. Maybe we can again.
Saturday Morning we have rail and his huge coffee pot outside his room, then between 8:45 – 9:00 am we meet at Paul Bunyan’s in the parking lot. We will collect money for breakfast. We will then enter as a group around 9:30. This is normally where we have a few presentations of T-shirts for the high mileage contest and possibly some other bizarre event needing to be honored or dishonored. After breakfast we usually head back to the motel and then head out on rides. Some ride leaders choose to leave directly from the breakfast. We usually try to have some participants who know the area lead a few rides or you can head out on your own. There are many good roads in the area and also several great things to see and/or do. It is very informal and you are not required to do anything. Most of the rides will be coming back to the motel in time for dinner. We still have to determine if we are doing anything special for the evening or not. After dinner we will head back to the motel for more lie telling and visiting. Once again the casino is a popular for those who continue to win. The casino has a shuttle service so you do not have to ride bike if you have been drinking or plan to at the while you are winning. If all goes well we may be able to get the owners of the motel to build us a nice campfire to sit around and do our talking.

Sunday morning is time to say our “goodbyes” and head for home with several stopping at various places for breakfast. It seems like a good breakfast helps extend our visit as saying good bye is always hard.

Many of us have already reserved our rooms prior to leaving last fall, but remember to let them know you are with the GL1800 or Goldwing group. Anna will make sure you are in our group and receive the special rate.

I will post more info on the cost of breakfast and any other organized or unorganized activities as we get closer. I hope that everyone returns and that many new friends will attend this spring. Everyone is Welcome no matter what you ride or where you live. We have had friends from many states and even our friend Buzz from Canada came.

SERIOUS! I haven't ruled out coming again. I had a great evening the last time, it's just 800 miles of what might be the most boring highways in the country, and there really isn't any real sexy way to get from PA to WI. So it will depend on my mood when it gets closer.

A better way is to leave a few days early. Head down the coast then cut over through the blue ridge to the Mississippi then the river road to Wisconsin. Sounds fun to me. Heck you may even be able to stop in Dolly World and see if you can check out the queen.....LOL
