Just got my Wing back from 16K maintenance. Had the All Balls tapered steering head bearings installed by the shop. Parts & labor under $200.

Set the cruise between 35 & 40 mph. Let my hands off the bars. Absolutely no wobble; was able to steer by leaning only.

Tried this twice, same great results.

Just my experience - yours may vary.

John,
Was it a Honda dealer who changed the bearings? I have been curious what it costs to have it done as I am thinking about having mine changed.

Thanks.

Yes, Lebanon Valley Honda near Jonestown, PA

$162 for labor. Parts from HDL.

My reaction after the change: :D :D :D

My wobble wasn't under steady acceleration but rather while decelerating. Cost from 60 to 30 and see if it's gone.

How much are they gonna charge to re-torque them after a few hundred miles, when everything settles in??

JOHN,
glad you're happy with your new bearings, but as TRIALSMAN said, most wobbles are DECEL wobbbles in that range.
For 200 bucks,i'll keep my hands on the bars, but that's just me.
Stay safe,

20 Grand & 2K miles don't make you a biker!!
