When you turn the key switch to on can you hear the fuel pump pressure up?

Drop a Viagra pill down in the gas tank. That usually starts everything else for you, doesn't it?;)

Might be off on base on this one, but I recall a recent thread here where someome had a no-start issue mid-vacation and far from home. Trouble was traced to a loose electrical terminal wire lead on some type of sending unit or sensor switch kocated on the right side of engine just above the oil filler dipstick. If memory serves me right, it may have been under a rubber boot cover or cap. Maybe double-check there for a loose wire connection. Good Luck.

Yes i do...
The only other odd no start situation I've read about involved a defective emergency kill switch. Poster reported that playing with the switches position allowed bike to start. Thats all I've got for ya.

How old is your battery? With the bike off I think it should show at least 12.6V at the terminals. When you're trying to start it the voltage may be dropping to a level where it doesn't have enough juice to fire up the ignition.

Fuel Pump?

You say you can hear the pump pressurize but is it putting out enough pressure. A friend's Ranger pickup had a working fuel pump, but when he put a pressure guage on the fuel line, it didn't have enough pressure. It had a pump motor but no pump output.
