I never had a trailer hitch, however I installed the LED light in the pace of the reflector. I have it wired to the brakes along with a LED Flasher when I come to a stop.
Just another option.:capwin:

Abrahms makes exact fit led that flashes $30 can adjust flash. Works as good as whelin 1/2 cost . Comes in bunch sizes

Uncle John, that is what I was thinking when driving in this morning, place a flashing light for when the brakes are applied. I was just going to go outside a take measurements for my search. But you just saved me all the work, thanks.


PS: I had (unfortunately pass tense) a 2001 Mulholland Blue Prowler.
