This is an old school sensor system that Tiresmart no longer supports.
It clamps to the wheel with a worm clamp that goes all the way around the wheel.
Typically, the stand-alone sensors are placed opposite the valve stem.
This one wasn't. It was at about the 4 o'clock position.
When I broke the bead at 3 o'clock, the tire and machine wedge hit the sensor and broke the clamp mounts.
I put sensor in one of the passenger cubbys. I get a light with "0" displayed. Less annoying than a blinking light and flashing "E" on the display.
thought I'd try this route before buying a new system.
