Is the Honda XM antenna waterproof? I have mine installed on the blank cover on top of the right saddlebag. I removed the antenna from the metal mounting plate used to install it in the nose of the bike. I had a cheap Amazon XM antenna on my previous bike, out in the elements and had no issue. The XM antenna that Honda sells is the same cheap one that Best Buy sells for $29.00. I think I bought mine of Amazon for around $16.00. It is waterproof. I have mine mounted on the front brake master cylinder. No issues.
