I want to install the xm commander in the trunk, where should I get power from , this should be switched power. Is it possible to somehow get power from the six disk changer connector
I just installed my XM Commander yesterday and ran the power wires from the trunk to the fuse block. There is a switched 12V connection point in the fuse block.
First one constant source of power is required, probably the memory support. This can connect directly to the battery. Noticed that the battery tender now kicks on every other day since installing the commander. Most likely the memory power usage. Would think that the constant power not getting connected would loose the channel select memorys?
