Recently on a trip I have noticed that my XM radio volume once set, will sporadically increase in volume and then decrease again. Any suggestions on a fix or possible reason for this?

Is it possible that the "Auto-Volume" control on the Wing is working, and
that might be the culprit???

If not, could be signal strength interference if you are using the "FM"
option rather than the aux cord. Other than that, absolutely no idea
other than the unit has an issue or two.

Thanks for the info, already checked both of those issues. Even tried riding with the intercom off, as I thought maybe it had something to do with the issue.

Maybe it was just the signal strength.

I have experienced what I thought was a signal strength issue, but am not
really sure how I would really verify just that. The problem does seem to
occur when I am in heavily wooded areas etc., so that may be it????

Try raising your input level to the GL aux input a couple of # higher. Go into the menu on the XM to do this. Dunno seems like it is worth a try.

I had a similar problem, turned out to be my aux cord jack.
