Friends and I spend 5 nights in Zion National Park at the lodge at the end of January. Zion is always a great place to visit (even better on the motorcycle other than in the winter, but that would have even worked this trip), but it is most awesome in the winter when there are very few people there -- especially during the week. We got in some good hiking and a lot of good hanging with friends. Really liked being in one of the cabins with the gas fireplace -- made for some nice sleeping with the flickeriing flame.

A lot of photos (believe it or not, I actually deleted a lot during the editing process) you you might enjoy seeing the trip down to Zion via Wolf Creek Pass (whiteout), as well as our visit to Valley of Fire and Vegas after Zion.
