Saw this posted from the Daytona bike week last week. It’s just a basic tour pack mounted to a non tour wing with spacers. This one has been severely modified to house speakers firing out the front. But these packs are less than 200$ on eBay amazon etc but would require painting unless you have a black wing. What your opinions on this? I like the low long look myself but just my opinion

I am guessing$400 to $500 Plus what it cost to paint it to match. If you have a black bike you would save that cost. The full size HD Tour pak will have way more room than a Honda trunk with Corbin lid.

Thanks Randy, I know first hand how much room the HD trunk has, I don't know if I'll do anything at this point except wait to see how you do.
If you guys go the Harley factory tour pack route it can get expensive. There is a company called Advanblack (https://www.advanblack.com) that sells high quality HD knock-off tour packs. My wife works for HD and a color matched tour pack for my Road Glide would be about $100 bucks less from Advanblack than the HD version even with my wife's discount.

About 180$ Shippe will get you the China’s knock off tour pack with a backrest and inside liner in either gloss black or matte finish with either black or chrome hardware. This wouldn’t be a permanent mod. Just something to throw on for packing some gear if the beaches or mountains ever open back up this summer

Those are spacers, not "bars". There is a major difference.
Good luck on not having threads pull out on you with those spacer knock-offs.

I am following this thread with a tinch of curiosity...simply because I dont see the point of removing the Wing Trunk to put a Harley trunk that I would guess, require some mod work.
Does the Harley trunk have more room? Will it get chicks on the road to wanna jump on your backseat? Is it necessary hardware to be able to ride with an outlaw group who thinks Harley are the only real bikes in the world?
For the looks?: Geez, you mean to tell me that Harley trunk is better looking than the Honda trunk, on a Goldwing? .....Dang it!!! it is true: beauty IS in the eye of the beholder!!

This thread is mainly for the bagger owners that wanted to add some extra storage that is cheap and still has the low look of a bagger. The king tour packs hold a ton of cargo. Right now with the resteraunts doing take out only, I can’t even take home a couple to go plates without having to turn them sideways spilling the contents in the saddlebags. I’ll probably get the chopped tour pack that is about 10” tall that slopes back to about 6” tall in the rear.

Here is how I solve that dilemma:
Personally, I don't like trunks, so I probably shouldn't even participate on this thread out of a capricious bias. I took my trunk off my Tour DCT with the Traxxion kit, I put a rack from here: GW BLACK LUGGAGE RACK...
...and those cheapie loops Cyclemax sells for the grabrails, then put a Marine backpack that is not only pro-America, but it actually has more room than the OEM Honda trunk. Then I can go grocery shopping--wearing a mark of course.
I would agree with anyone who thinks it may not be pretty...but I ain't into pretty on my bike.
You 'll have to be careful with this. This way I can save face with the bagger outlaws, but may not be allowed in the GWRRA chapter rides.

I would say a better description is "A practical set up". I had my o' girlfriend (and I mean that literally) hold the bag up so you can see the size. That does not include the 2" extension at the bottom; and note this thing has two pockets on this side, two on the other, and three flat slots for more crap on the top. Urrahh! God bless the Marines.
Unlike the Honda trunk, you can put two full face helmets in there. Ha!
