You may want to look into a service that repairs alloy wheels. I hit a nasty hole at night that bent my rim, and while I did buy a new rim, I also had the bent one repaired. My repair cost $158, was ready the following day, and the rim looks like new.

I would look for a used wheel before buying an aftermarket Chinese wheel.

 

The rim can be repaired. Tennessee Charlie used to do that as his retirement business for car dealerships.

Nu Wheel in Tucson repaired my front wheel about 20 months ago for $100 … straight and true and looks great. If you don’t have a local wheel repair shop than there are plenty of ones that will provide service with shipping. Usually they will tell you if it’s repairable by sending them photos… visible cracks will be a deal breaker. But other than that I’m guessing it will be repairable.

You have to completely strip the wheel though… which is a pain. Remove everything.

 

Get ahold of the trike place i believe in alabama or mississippi and they will probably have one that is cheap. Some of the trike guys are putting on very large wide tires on the front.

In Florida will have one tell him Mattie told you to call his name is Marvin, this was the first trike company that was putting larger rims and tires on the front of trikes, with a completely different front suspension.

I think that’s the Chinese one the OP is talking about…. That’s not an OEM Honda wheel I don’t think.

 

That is the Chinese made one I think. You can get it from Amazon for about the same price. It might work just fine but I would like to see some reviews, especially from someone on a forum I trust.
I owned a CF Moto side by side for about a year and you got a lot of extras for the money. The fueling on it made it almost unusable and the dealership just shrugged. I could never get anyone on the phone or email from the manufacturer.

If you want your wheel fixed just go by the nearest car dealer service department and ask them who do they use to fix wheels, every major city has at least one or more places to do this work.

 

Good call on Eurovisionusa. They have a nice wheel for $300. I figure just a bit more than getting mine repaired and less hassle . . . because basically I'm lazy.

If you're going to throw out the damaged wheel, there are probably several of us that would be willing to take it off your hands in the hope it could be fixed.

 

Once it's off the bike, I will probably explore the cost and feasibility of having it fixed.
But again, I'm lazy so that may never happen and I will certainly keep y'all in mind.

The Chinese make cars and motorcycles, they can certianly make high quialty wheels. I rather have a new wheel than a repaired wheel myself.

 

Yes they do manufacture cars and bikes. This is not saying that their aftermarket parts are the same quality as their OEM.
These parts are produced mainly for export by some small company. If you look at the picture, it AI generated, not a picture of the actual part.
How many Goldwings do you think are sold in China and how many replacement parts would be sold there?
