After the art fair yesterday Betty and I opened my mom and pop eatery book . Nothing in In town appealed to us than Red Rooster popped out just 15 minutes away . OMG I had all could eat broasted chix with real mashed taters and gravy ,with handmade bread . But before that a slice of French silk pie ( better than Betty's Shhh!!!!).
Betty highly enjoyed the 2 peice hand breaded cod dinner with hand made frys . All that bill was $23 yes $23 unreal . The salad bar had 5 different cold pasta salads that were delish . Their taco salad was to die for . It was a rather long ride home on the slab in the dark with very full belly , but $23 for that quality for 2 was well worth the miserable uncomfortable ride home in the rain part way . If ya get chance the breakfasts their look even better . Waitress said avoid Sunday between 10-2 though as the entire town eats there for the chicken dinners.
