I have a 2010 Goldwing trike rode 200 miles Thursday parked bike.went to ride today won’t start.lt will crank but not start.

Check all the usual culprits, bad battery, clean and tight connections. Put a voltmeter on it to see voltage before and during cranking, anything below 10.5 volts, replace the battery.

Turning over fast and strong? While holding the throttle open so it wont start is when to read the voltage if you can. Cycle the kill switch, make sure you can hear the fuel pump running for a few seconds, all proper lights coming on when ignition first turned on, headlights come on bright and go out when hitting start button etc. Please keep us posted.

Since it's cranking, it's not the kill switch.

Put the kickstand down and crank the engine for 10 seconds. See if you get blinking FI light.
As Pooch said, check the battery voltage while cranking.
Whoops, just noticed its a trike. No kickstand.

Are you sure there’s enough gasoline left in the tank ? You definitely wouldn’t be the first person to have trouble because there was no gas in the tank.

I know a guy who’s Goldwing quit and wouldn’t start so he had it towed to a dealer, they put some gasoline in it and it started right away, he then traded it in on a brandnew Goldwing.

I think the code is 19 one long and nine short blinks, if I recall correctly.

Correct, but the OP never mentioned the light is not on.

This is a trike. Unless the BAS failed while sitting, I doubt it's the problem.

Replace batteries and spark plugs finally got bike to start. Thanks.

Mark another one up for battery being the issue.
Enough juice to crank but not enough to ignite.

Get your battery checked for voltage, (every year) .............. I just replaced my battery while at the Americade Motorcycle Rally, in June.........(2025)
and I still keep it plugg'd into a battery maintainer, while she sits in my garage, waiting "impatiently" to be taken out for a ride..
