See if this helps. The plug is just behind the relay box. In this picture I pulled it up a bit and you can just see some white plugs in the boot.

Here's a close up of the boot. The Large white plug is the CD plug.

I saw that plug, but assumed it could not be the correct one due to not reaching the trunk. How do I get it to the trunk area?

If you bought a CD player for the Wing, the CD player should come with a cable of the appropriate length. You would need to drill a hole in the back of the trunk and run the cable from the plug behind the relay box into the well of the trunk.

 

That's the connector I plugged my MP3 player into that I got from BikeMP3.
