Case/Engine Guards

I just received a set of case/engine guards as a present. They are chrome, and are very attractive looking, but they look like a Chinese knock off of some that I spotted made by Alexipress. However, this set came with NO MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS! And some of the bolts look like they are missing. Now, I'm no mechanical whiz by any stretch of the imagination, so I'm seeking help from anyone who might have come in contact with a set of these before, maybe mounting their own set, or can tell me where to turn to for a set of instructions.

a picture of them would be helpful so we know what you are talking about.....I would go to a site like Wingstuff.com and see if they are there....often there are instructions in the description or you can find the original manufacturer and find the instal instructions there.

Is this what you have? If so, this is the same set I have on my 2018 Gold Wing Tour Air Bag Model. Amazon had them, ebay had them, and they all come from China. You will not find them on Wingstuff or Cyclemax. My bars were made by Akoye Racing products, manufactured in China. I didn't mount mine myself. I was having some installations done and I added them to the list. They look great and will offer more protection than the stock tip over bars. The bars are 1" in diameter.

YES! This looks like the set I have. My neighbor across the street is a former Airline Mechanic, maybe he can help me figure this out, and between the two of us we can give it a shot. If not, I will let the dealer install these for me when I get some other things installed. I will keep this board advised.

Don't watch the video unless you have taken your sea sickness pills...... It does nothing to help with the installation. But a couple of the pictures show orientation on the bike and will help identify mounting points if you have the bike and the bars in front of you....

Wow! I got the exact same as you but received no instructions or bolts. I’ve been looking at the damn thing trying to figure out how to approach this job. Can you tell me the size of the bolts I’ll need so I can purchase them. If you could, I’d appreciate a copy of the instructions you received if not too much hassle. Thank you.
